Speciality fibers, undyed
The luxury and curiosity shelf. These are the fibers that go beyond everyday wool, left in their natural or bleached state so you can spin them as they are or dye them yourself.
Animal fibers include baby alpaca in white, fawn, grey, brown, dark brown and black, baby camel combed top, cashmere, angora and young adult mohair in ecru. On the silk side you'll find mulberry silk top and noil, tussah in natural, bleached and extra bleached, Eri and Muga silk, peduncle silk top, hankies, cocoon strippings and silk carrier rods for texture.
Plant and regenerated fibers round it out: bamboo, cotton, ramie, banana, rose, soybean, milk, pearl and Seacell tops, all of which spin quite differently from wool and love a good acid-free dye day.
