The Glimakra Julia Countermarche Loom brings the feel of a full floor loom to a smaller footprint. It is compact and quiet, with a lightweight yet sturdy construction that makes treadling comfortable and everyday weaving inviting. With a 27-inch weaving width, the Julia gives you generous space for scarves, yardage, and other handwoven projects while fitting more easily into a dedicated corner or smaller studio.
The Julia can move through doorways while fully assembled, so you can spend less time wrestling with your loom and more time weaving. Choose the configuration that suits your practice: 4 harnesses with 6 treadles, which can later be expanded, or 8 harnesses with 8 treadles. Reed options include 5, 6, or 10 dents per inch.
