Superfine merino, 18.5 micron
Finer than our standard 23 micron merino and noticeably softer in the hand, 18.5 micron superfine merino is the one to choose for anything worn next to the skin: cowls, baby knits, shawls and fine lace. It drafts smoothly for worsted spinning and takes dye beautifully, so the colors come up clear and saturated.
Current shades run from soft and pale, like Dream, Light Apricot, Cotton Candy, Light Jade, Light Amethyst and Summer Sky, through richer tones including Scarlet, Tangerine, Jonquil, Grass, Royal Blue, Amethyst and Lavender, plus the neutrals Granite and Raven.
