Spinning Wheels
Spinning wheels and spindles
A wheel is a long-term companion, so it's worth picking the one that fits how you spin. We stock wheels from Ashford, Schacht and Kromski, from compact travel wheels to full-size traditional treadle wheels and electric spinners.
From Ashford: the Traditional in single and double drive, the Traveller 3, Kiwi 3, the folding double treadle Joy with carry bag, the Country Spinner 2 for bulky art yarn, and the e-Spinner 3 and e-Spinner Super Jumbo for cord-free spinning. Many come in lacquered or natural unfinished so you can finish them yourself.
From Schacht: the much-loved Ladybug and the portable Sidekick. From Kromski: the Sonata, Fantasia and Polonaise, with that classic Polish woodwork.
Prefer to start smaller, or want something for the sofa? We also carry Ashford, Schacht Hi-Lo and Kromski drop spindles, plus lazy kates, orifice and threading hooks and wheel oil to keep everything running sweetly.
Choosing your first wheel? Tell us what you like to spin and we'll narrow it down with you.
