Malabrigo built its reputation on kettle-dyed color and buttery Uruguayan merino, and it's the yarn knitters keep coming back for. Every base takes dye a little differently, so the same colorway can read soft and watercolor in one and deep and saturated in another.
Here's how the range breaks down by weight:
- Lace and Silkpaca (70% baby alpaca, 30% silk) for airy shawls and wraps.
- Sock, Mechita and Mora, a pure mulberry silk fingering, for socks, shawls and fine knits.
- Arroyos in sport weight for everyday lightweight pieces.
- Rastita and Silky Merino (50% silk, 50% merino) in DK, the latter beautifully drapey.
- Rios, a washable 4-ply workhorse that resists pilling, and the original single-ply Worsted.
- Twist in bulky, 150 yards per 100 g skein, for quick projects.
