Drum carders from Ashford handle volume, with the Wild Carder at 72 PPSI and 4 inch width for chunky art batts, the Fine 72 PPSI 8 inch for general wool, the Super Fine 120 PPSI 8 inch for merino and fine fibers, and the Wide 72 PPSI 12 inch for big batts.
Handcarders come in Ashford Classic, Small and Cotton versions, the cotton pair being finer for short-staple fibers.
Blending boards and the matching brush let you lay down colors and pull off rolags, and for worsted prep there's the BAM wool comb set and the Ashford diz stick with yarn gauge.
